As Requested

Here are some pics of NYC and of around where we live.....it looks really beautiful. ANd now that it is fall, its even more beautiful. I hope you enjoy...not much is new here...just babysitting :P but what else is new :)
OOO Jorge bought me a digital camera for my birthday so I will beable to take my own really nice pics!!! it should be here around the 26th :) Im so excited.
St. Mary's park is where we go to the Park with Becca, it is on the same street as her grandparents house and the swimming pool.

Rolling Victory Fast

Well tomorrow (friday the 13th) I will be fasting in support of the troops. I am truley very excited about it, I dont think its gonna be that hard, I will just keep in mind why I am doing it and should breeze through it :D

what a week!

Well this week has been alright...pretty buisy I guess...seeings as its only Wednesday. Jorge has been working ALOT...I hardly get to see the man unless its bedtime, and I have been babysitting...I was supposed to have an interview today for another kid, but I really am not up to having a 2,3&4yr old running around the house!! Especially when all the 4yr old does is cause trouble!..plus I would have to be on the train at 6am to pick the 2yr old up and its really not worth it. I have another interview on Saturday, for another 3yr old but she is just spending the night every saturday...so it wouldnt be a problem.
Blizzard goes to the vet next Friday, and hopefully gets neutered in a couple weeks....I was supposed to be getting another bunny as a foster bunny, but he found a new home...so I am waiting to foster again!....On Saturday I get to volunteer helping adopt bunnies at the petco here..I am really excited about it, because I get to help out these cute little guys and make friends at the same time!!
And you may have noticed in one of my previous pictures I have some Cabbage Patch Kids....well here is a pic of all 48 of them! :P It is my new hobby. I collect pre-loved kids, clean them up and make sure they are all in original clothes and have papers, and then maybe one day I will sell some of them . Well that is our week in a nutshell :P More to come soon! :)

This week in the Rodriguez Family

Well this week hasnt been very exciting at all....I babysat most of it and Jorge worked through the rest. I added more cabbage patch kids to my collection..which is now over 48...yes childish I know..but they are fun to clean up( they look brand new afterwords). I just need to find a place for them.
Rebecca is doing great...she is finally getting the jist of sharing and stuff..which is good because that makes life around here alot more liveable. She does miss everyone in Canada though...she keeps asking when we are taking the plane.....she will be so excited next spring!!!
One exciting thing happened ..well atleast it is exciting to me, I finally got called to volunteer helping to adopt out bunnies every Saturday.. Im very happy! I have been waiting forever and finally I will have something to do on Saturday..hah.

Welcome to our family blog

This blogging stuff is all new to me..hah but it seems like a wonderful way to keep friends and family updated on everything going on...especially since we live so far away from the rest of my family..who lives in Canada.
Rebecca is starting school this coming week, I am homeschooling her...she wants to do it and has been bugging me for a while..so I am giving in..it will be fun.....we did it for about 4months just before summer started, and she loved it.....she can already write her name :) and she knows her alphabet, we are just going to concentrate on the basics and have fun doing it.
My nephew Zander will be a month old this month!!! and i cant wait to meet the little guy!.
